Good morning! Thanks so much for this. I’ve begun reading this wonderful and quite moving volume, and how precious the stuff you’ve gathered! It’s a privilege to be among so many committed thinkers. I was moved by your own and Zeenat Adams‘ contributions. I was delighted to read the Chris Hedges piece. I follow him on YouTube of course, and have often engaged with him in my own writings. He is, I think, the most thoughtful, progressive social-critical voice in the US these days, especially now that Noam Chomsky’s voice is not so frequent anymore and after Cornel West’s foray into politics has somewhat blunted his prophetic edge. Here’s hoping that he will soon rediscover his proper place in the public arena. In any case, congratulations and thank you for the opportunity to be included in a space where I feel so at home with my own intellectual grapples with our worsening political and social dilemmas and situations. Hope we can stay in touch.
