Congratulations, Aryan and the herri team (Andrea, Jurgen, Slovo and Martijn)!
It’s inspiring to see what you’ve created and grown in a very short time – what is it, two years now?
herri is an incredible resource for teaching (what occupies most of my time these days), and it usually makes for the most lively discussions in class. As one would say in Afrikaans, dit skei die kaf van die koring very efficiently. There are those who are completely flummoxed by what they find, there are those who break their heads to only read herri as texts of a particular kind – the dry academic kind. And then there are those for whom it is a revelation, for whom something just clicks. Switches on. Those are usually the ones who come up with the most interesting stuff of their own.
