Dear Ari, dear George,
Thank you so much for sharing this artwork.
This is fantastic, I have read and listened up to the first recording (because I am pressed with another deadline for Germany – when I compose, I don’t want to listen to any other music, to keep my mind focused). I look forward to reading and listening to this artwork, in 2 weeks’ time when I am hopefully done with the composition.
What I have seen so far, from your (Prof Ari and George) is absolutely brilliant how the videograph – music – poetry work together to create this artwork which crosses the disciplines. A few years ago, I read an amazing 1924 Novel by the Austrian author Arthur Schnitzler called Fräulein Else. The novel reworked some of the famous works and musical excerpt from Robert Schumann scores. Those excerpts gave the text a depth which I can’t put into words but at the same time, the placement of those excerpts gave the music a new meaning.
I have to say, your version goes a step further. I love it so much. It challenges the norm. The music from George is equally beautiful. Thank you so much for this wonderful work.
